Dr. Geoh Soon Chua

Consultant Physician and Geriatrician
Dr. Geoh Soon Chua (‘Soon’) is a consultant physician and geriatrician and a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians who completed his undergraduate medical training at the University of Melbourne. He did his physician training and specialisation in geriatric medicine at various public healthcare networks including Eastern Health, Western Health, and Barwon Health. He is also involved in research including peer reviewed publication and was the finalist in the Eastern Health Division of Medicine Research Award 2020.
Soon has broad knowledge in all areas of geriatric medicine with a special interest in cognitive assessment, delirium & dementia management, falls & balance, and polypharmacy. He prioritises clear communication, and ensures all decisions are made in conjunction with his patients. Soon is readily available to discuss urgent referrals and clinical matters. This can be facilitated by our supportive staff Maria and Michelle.
Outside of work, Soon is a husband and a father to a baby girl. He is multilingual and is able to converse fluently in English, Mandarin, and Malay.
